Burgundy Leather

Shoes: Charlotte Olympia / Bag: Vintage Chanel / Sunnies: Ray-Ban

Leather pants are a staple for fall and winter in New York City.
They keep your legs nice and warm and you look stylish at the same time.
I bought these 7 For All Mankind leather 'crackle' jeans and I am obsessed!

Firstly I have to tell you, in person I cannot tell what color these jeans are.
When I first got them I was confused because I could swear to you that
they are purple (a red wine type of purple) and not burgundy.
But in photographs these jeans look exactly how I envisioned them.

To style these jeans I started with the shoes (duh!).
I chose my light pink Charlotte Olympia platforms, because I didn't want to go with basic black.
I personally feel that light colors, such as white or grey, complement the burgundy color of these pants.
To match the light pink shoes I chose a light pink sweater that I bought from Urban Outfitters.
I love the whole matchy-matchy vibe in a minimal way.
Because there is a purple tone in the burgundy the light pink (mis)matches really well.

Black and Blue

Sweater: Forever21  / Coat: Forever21 / Jeans: J Brand
Bag: Chanel / Pumps: Manolo Blahnik / Sunnies: Ray-Ban

New York is in it's last days of warm(ish) weather.
In the fall, New Yorkers cherish everyday of warm weather like it could be there last..
..at least until Spring.
I love the transitioning period between summer and winter because I can still
wear cute outfits without worrying about staying warm.
Today, as a #SundayFunday activity, me and my husband spent the day
at Gantry State Park in Queens, NY.
The park has an incredible view overlooking the NYC midtown skyline.

My fall and winter wardrobe is all black errything'.
Today, I chose to break up my all black outfit with some electric blue.
I recently bought this sweater from Forever21 and paired it with my fave pair of ripped jeans.
I love mixing high and low price points, I feel it keeps outfits interesting
when you can make something cheap look expensive.

Wedding "Shoes"

My husband and I just got married this past September 18th!
I am a huge shoe person and anyone who knows me
knows that I am very particular about which shoes I purchase and wear.

For my wedding I decided on the light pink, Charlotte Olympia 'Dolly' shoes.
To me they are whimsical and fun - and I thought they matched my personal style,
plus I can wear them again with jeans :)
The shoes come with a detachable ankle strap that resembles a pastel candy bracelet.
You kind of want to just take a bite out of it.

Although I purchased these for the wedding,
I knew for photo shooting and dancing- I would die wearing these all day.
I'm pretty sure my feet would have gone numb. I decided that I needed to buy a pair of sneakers.
My wedding dress was very long and fluffy at the bottom, so I knew a pair of flat sneakers would not do the trick. Plus, in a long dress who can really see your shoes?

I found these amazing platform sneakers on DollsKill.com that were literally the answer to my problem.
They made me tall enough so it gave the illusion of heels and they were also so comfortable- I was able to run around all day taking pictures and I was dancing all night longggg.

For any bride-to-be,
I am HIGHLY recommending these sneakers.
They were only $95 - and are literally one of the best purchases I've made!
